Clear Currents enters the European Union market by opening an office in Rome, Italy. The EU is a strategically important market for CCI because the region has the most extensive environmental laws of any international organization, making it a potential customer for Clear Currents’ environmental cleaning products.
Clear Currents signed a five-year, $150 million agreement with Sino-Agri Holding Co. Ltd. to promote, sell and distribute SeaStar agricultural products in China. The contract projects sales of a minimum of 1,000 metric tons of SeaStar, a water-soluble fertilizer containing amino acids, in China in 2015. Sales will increase by 1,000 tons each year, up to 5,000 tons in 2019.
CCTV, or China Central Television, announced they will formally stop the use of chemical cleaning products and use Clear Currents exclusively for internal use after reviewing the testing results for the Clear Currents cleaning products.
